The R’s Go To Italy!

Our pre-season campaign is full of conveniences for manager Neil Warnock and chairman/whatever his title is now Gianni Paladini. The tour of Cornwall/Devon was always on the cards as NW likes to do his pre-season games near his 2nd home/farm in the area.

Recently the club have announced two friendlies in Italy against last season’s Serie B champions Atalanta and Serie A mid-table side Cesena which take place mid to late July. I wonder how many R’s fans will actually travel to see these games?

Perhaps if the R’s had organised a proper tour to Italy with packages for fans to travel and see the games whilst also providing a holiday package, it would be all good but of course that would be too difficult for the club to reward loyal supporters.

Who remembers the tours of scandinavia in the 1980’s and 1990’s? Bring them back I say!

Bizarrely there are no pre-season games scheduled to take place at Loftus Road for the first time in as long as I can remember.

Hopefully the games in Italy will provide good competition for the Rangers squad ahead of the first Premier League game of the season at home to Bolton Wanderers!
